Do you bring VALUE to your CUSTOMERS? Most of us, myself included, get caught up with our 'great idea' and forget to ask ourselves the question of whether or not we are really creating value to our customer.
I love engineering and making things. And not just making them but exactly how they are made. But guess what...our customers don't care. And yours don't either. All they care about (as they should) is whether or not you are bringing value to them/their consumer.
Start by asking the question of how does my product or service bring value to the customer. If you start there, and don't get caught up in why you think it is cool, you will set yourself and your company up for great success...and it's a ton of fun!
